Nieman Fellowships are the oldest and best-known mid-career program for journalists in the world. The Nieman Foundation has been a model for similar programs at universities and centers here and abroad. More than 1,000 journalists from the U.S. and 72 other countries have come to Harvard for a year of learning, exploration and fellowship.
